I’ve always loved that time of night when most of the world is asleep but you can still hear distant trucks on the highway. And someone’s dog is barking in a backyard a couple of blocks away. Then silence. Stillness… till another truck rolls by and the dog starts barking again. But there’s something in that space between you and the truck. You and the dog. That soothing night space. It’s where you realise that silence, stillness, and darkness have their own song. And it’s perfect and lovely.
